STUCCO:

Q: What is stucco?

A: Stucco is a cement mixture used for siding homes. The cement is combined with water and inert materials such as sand and lime. Synthetic stucco finishes are becoming more and more popular as home owners and business desire the more extreme shapes and designs that can be stucco with synthetic stucco. Traditional stucco goes all the way back to ancient Greek and Roman times. 

Q: Does stucco crack?

A: Stucco can crack for many different reasons: incorrect installation of wire latch, stucco installation is not thick enough, movement on the substrate or wall, typical on framing movement on wood.

Q: Why is my stucco leaking water into my home?

A: There are many reasons why stucco will leak, such as: improper installation of paper, flashing around window not installed correctly, no drip caps or weep screeds installed in areas such as Foundation & Framing Junction, window tops with no drip caps.

Q: Can I re-stucco my home with a fresh coat of stucco?

A: Yes you can, as long as the existing stucco is structurally sound.

Q: Can I powerwash my stucco?

A: No, it is not recommended because a pressure washing machine can destroy the integrity of the stucco. What is recommended is to use a cleaning agent that is made for cleaning stucco and follow the usage instructions of that product.

Q: Do you provide warranties with your services?

A: Yes we do: 12 Months Labor and Material

Q: Do you provide longer term warranties?

A: Yes, depending on the stucco system chosen, there are warranties up to 10 years. These warranties have more procedures involved than a standard stucco system. The warranty comes from the manufacturer.

A: Yes we do: 12 Months Labor and Material.

SYNTHETIC STONE VENEER:

Q: Is synthetic stone veneer less expensive than real stone? (synthetic stone is a simulated stone appearance)?

A: Yes, the cost to purchase and install the material is considerably less expensive and yet looks like it is real stone.

Q: Are there different costs involved for different types of stone?

A: Yes, the shape/design of the stone will determine the cost of the installation.
